An Intellectual’s War

If you don’t join us now, when Saddam’s regime falls and Iraqis cheer the US Marines, you are really going to feel like a jackass. And your jackassery will be exposed beneath klieg lights for all to see. Remember the Chomskyites who got everything wrong in Afghanistan? Remember the Europeans who wanted to give the Butcher in Belgrade one more chance? That is not where you want to be right now. The liberation of Iraq and the democratic transformation of the Middle East is the most progressive cause in the world today. It is the right side of history, and if you stand in the way or sit on the sidelines, your liberal humanitarian credentials are toast. - Michael Totten

Brilliant! You have to give Michael even more credit for not being afraid to use the word “jackassery”. Check out his excellent blog as well.

Would You Like an Apple Pie With That?

Scott Ritter - Burger King (Photoshoped)

It seems that Scott Ritter has had some run-ins with the law:

NewsChannel 13 reported in June 2001 about an arrest of a 39-year-old William Ritter of Delmar on charges he tried to lure a 16-year-old girl he met on the Internet to a Burger King in Menands. According to police, the intent of that meeting was so that she could watch him perform sexual acts on himself.

Ritter’s attorney, Norah Murphy, confirms her client was arrested in June 2001, but will not discuss the details of the case because the records have been sealed.

However, that might not have been Ritter’s first brush with the law. According to the Albany Times Union, two months before that arrest, Ritter tried to meet a 14-year-old girl he chatted with online and was instead met by police officers. The newspaper reports that he was released without being charged.

The War Against America

Anti-War Protest

The so-called “peace movement” today is led by the same hate-America radicals who supported America’s totalitarian enemies during the Cold War. They marched in support of the Vietcong, the Sandinista Marxists and the Communist guerrillas in El Salvador. Before that they marched in behalf of Stalin and Mao. They still support Castro and the nuclear lunatic in North Korea, Kim Jong-Il. They are the friends in deed of Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein.

What prompts American radicals to make common cause with such monsters? The answer is obvious: They share a common view of America as the “Great Satan.” They believe that it is America, not tyrants like Saddam Hussein, that inflicts misery and suffering on the world. The targets of the 9/11 terrorists were Wall Street and the Pentagon. These were the targets of American radicals long before. - David Horowitz

How to Win Friends and Influence People

Cop killing is appreciated but if you really want admiration from the Left gun down a few CIA employees.

It worked for Mir Aimal Kasi:

My international law ain’t the greatest, but something tells me Mr. Kasi could qualify as a POW. Something also tells me that the UN SHOULD HAVE A BONE TO PICK WITH EXECUTING A POW. I would say free Kasi by any means necessary but it looks like we’re a day late and a few individuals short. You’re a true warrior, and a good man, Mr. Kasi…

Where else but Raise The Fist!

Oops Did We Say Class War? We Meant Peace. Really.

On Saturday, January 18th at approximately 4pm the Radical Youth Brigade launched the first in a series of preemptive strikes directly against military recruiting in the Portland area. The windows of the U.S. Military recruiting office at NE 13th and Broadway were shattered and graffiti nearby proudly proclaimed that there will be “NO WAR BUT THE CLASS WAR.”

The Brigade launched this offensive in direct response to the unrestrained militarism of the Bush administration, a rogue dictatorship in possession of weapons of mass destruction. This action was taken in solidarity with the worldwide protest against the impending war on Iraq. Although war has not been declared, racist military recruitment and the “poverty draft” amount to war on the youth of our communities.

Until these acts of war cease, our response will escalate. The Radical Youth Brigade calls on all of our brothers and sisters to join us in resisting the Bush dictatorship by any and all means necessary!

U.S. Military OUT of Portland Schools!
Stop the LIES and COERCION!
No War but the Class War!
