Scary comments out of Iran:

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Tuesday, “The day of happiness for the region is near… The world is on the verge of great changes,” according to the Iranian news agency.

Ahmadinejad added that he considered Israel’s operation in Lebanon “a type of playing with fire.”

It’s frightening to think that we may let Iran take the opening shot in a war that (as I keep repeating) is inevitable. I wonder what form that shot will take?

Iranian Leader Ali Khamenei; Hizbullah Will Not Be Disarmed

From these statements and others it is blatantly evident that Iran is moving rapidly towards a military confrontation with Israel and the U.S. One of the few questions that remain to be answered is who takes the strategic initiative and strikes first.

Have they already developed a nuke or bought one from Korea/black market from Russia?? They have missiles cabable of reaching Europe so certainly to reach every aspect of Isreal. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad alluding to a “day of happiness” sounds as though he was talking about the destruction of the Jewish State. Only a nuke or maybe more than one would accomplish that to a greater extent. I hope we have a Dooms Day contingency plan for Iran in the event of something like that.

The only country to have ever used a nuclear bomb is the US. Whenever there is a conflict, the US has it’s fingerprints all over it… invasion and war in Iraq, the ongoing fighting in Afghanastan and using Israel as a proxy in the middle east. The problem is that American’s have a culture of violence. Just look at your backyard with more gun related killings than any country in the world. Owning a gun is a right written into your constitution!! And your president and his war monger ways is an extension of that.
