Rather interesting (but not quite surprising) news out of the Jerusalem Post:
Meanwhile, sources close to the Hamas-led government claimed that Hamas representatives recently held talks with officials from the US Democratic Party at a secret location.
The sources told the Bethlehem-based Maan News Agency that Hamas representatives have also been holding secret talks with European government officials, including Britain and France.
The obvious question is whether these meetings are officially sanctioned or party initiated. If this is true I’d really like to know why the Democrats are holding secret unilateral talks with terrorists.

It wouldn’t be new. The Democrat party held talks with the Communist Russians (Kennedy in particular) during the Cold War. Why should this leoapard change its spots now?
