Thanks, but no thanks:
Sen. Barack Obama called some people on his shortlist for the vice presidential slot Thursday night to tell them he had not selected them as a running mate, a highly placed Democratic Party source said.
The source did not say which people got the call.
Obama has told some other potential running mates over the last few weeks that he would not be choosing them.
NBC cameraman Jim Long is camped outside of Joe Biden’s house and posting updates on Twitter. Biden seems to be a favorite but could it still be Hillary? I think so. You know what they say about keeping your friends close and your enemies closer.

why does CNN think it is news to say “Obama still undecided about VP” or “Obama has a short list of VP”
GUESS WHAT!! That isn’t news !!!!
He can’t have a VP until he elected. So I wish eveyone would tell him this “YOU”RE NOT THE PRESIDENT”
lordy lordy
Personally, I am so sick of this dribbly news, I can’t even stand to hear his name

Despite quite the dis-information campaign throughout the day (KC printing companies, loud mouth limo drivers and that mystery Chicago Tribune phone call) Obama has subtly allowed the public in on his VEEP choice:

Obama/Biden…
my worst fears have come true.
Why couldn’t have Obama picked Powell, Clark, Sebelius, or Richardson? Anyone but Biden! He just keeps making this more difficult! Reminder – there is still hope for Hillary to take this!
